Having received a special pardon from his Excellency the President of the United States & accepted the same. I hereby make application to you for the restoration of my property in Norfolk now held by the Freedmans Bureau. The following is a list of the property 1. House & lot, corner of Freemason & Botetourt Sts. 2. House & lot corner of Freemason & Catherine Sts 3. Lot with 5 tenements on Cove St 4. House & lot corner of Free [[Freemason]] & Bank Sts. 5. Houses 43 & 45. Bk Str 6. Houses 47 & 49 Bk Str. 7. House no 23 W. Main Str. All the above property is unlet - none of it in use by the Bureau - respectfully, William Selden
