Dear Sir - I some time since cause to be placed in your hands my petition for a restoration of my farm and property at New Mill Creek from which as yet I have received no answer. Fearing that it may take some time to get that matter settled. I respectfully ask for an order permitting me to cut wood and lumber upon such portions of said property as is not occupied by your Bureau or its tenants - This will enable me to make a living and will in no wise interfere with your occupation or the possession of your tenants

Respectfully
W W Silvester
