The application of Jefferson B. Sinclair late of Elizabeth City County but now of the county of Gloucester Virginia respectfully represents that he has received a full Pardon from his Excellency the President of the United States and complied under the law of the same, which is dated 12th October 1865. and which he now exhibits references to join. That all proceeding in the named state District court for Va. against the property hereafter mentioned, have been dismissed and the only hindrances now in his way to the possession of the deed proper is the fact that it is on the charged occupancy of said Bureau. He has certificate from the clerk of said court of dismissal and certificate that the land hereafter described lands in his name on the books of the Commr of Revenue of the County of Elizabeth City. The said land is bounded on the South by the town of Hampton & Main Road. West by the Main Road and the Back River. North by the lands of Jack Hamm and K Wheeling, and East by the Hampton
