Sir,
I most respectfully solicit the restoration & surrender to me of an undivided moiety in a lot on the Southeast Corner of South & Effingham Streets in this City, libelled in the District Court of the U.S. for confiscation, and held by your Bureau as abandoned, &c.

In making this application, I submit a certified copy of the amnesty oath taken by me before the U.S. District court in Norfo:- June 5th 1865. Also receipt of the Clerk of the District Court of the U.S. that the costs of the suit for the confiscation of the moiety of said lot have been paid, & that that the said suit will be dismissed, and finally, proof of title, pr certificate of the clerk of the Court of Hustings for this city.

Humbly submitting that these facts place me within the circular & general orders governing the action of your Bureau, I pray that my said property may be restored, and that I may have such & further relief as the circumstances of my case call for.
