Tazewell Taylor formerly of the city of Norfolk state of Virginia, of the age of fifty five years and upwards, states as follows -

That he was well acquainted with Mrs. Ann Taylor decd. generally known as Mrs. Ann B. Taylor of said City - that she was the widow of Arthur Taylor Jr. and the daughter of the late Major John Saunders of the United States Army. Mrs. Taylor died in the month of November 1861 in the city of Norfolk -
without a will as I am informed and believe.
She was the owner of a House and Lot in said city situated on Dartmouth Street, where she resided for many years and up to her death. She left children who are two of her heirs at law as follows - viz. Lucy Taylor now living in Norfolk - William V. Taylor also of said city and carrying on the business of Banker therein and Lizzie Taylor Harris an infant daughter of her deceased daughter Elizabeth and Betty Taylor and Banam Taylor infants of tender years the children of her deceased son John S Taylor, and she left also another daughter Mrs. Mary M. Smith of New Orleans still living and one of her heirs at law - This Affiant is in no way connected with the said parties -
