Gen. Howard I don't think on any fair construction this is abandoned property. The lady claiming is a widow - her children are orphans. The great government we serve can't [[strikethrough]] afford [[/strikethrough]] help the widow and the orphan. I would not live in a house with such an adverse claim. Would you? Please make an order giving the lady her house
