Your petitioner William W. Thomas respectfully represents that his Land located in the County of Northampton consisting of one half of an undivided tract of Land containing One Hundred and Ninety acres subject to the Dower of Catharine S. Thomas has been seized as abandon Land and is now under the controll of the Freedmans Bureau. That your petitioner on 20th day of June 1865 took and subscribed to the Amnesty Oath prescribed by the President in his proclimation. That your petitioner is not included in either of the classes -
excepted from benefit of said proclimation and that said Lands hav not been Confiscated or Libelled for Confiscation.
Your petitioner therefore prays that said Land be restored and your petitioner will every Pray & Co - (said land not occupied by Freedmen and rented by Govt to Geo. H. Thomas.
