designated by the members 234 and 236 and being the same land of which Edward Watson died seized and possessed, which said land was sold by the said William, H. C, Ellis Commissioner at public auction as aforesaid under the power given him as aforesaid, In Testimony whereof he said William, H,C. Ellis Commissioner as aforesaid has hereto set his hand and seal this day and year first above written

I John T, Hall a Notary Public for the City aforesaid in The State of Virginia do certify that William, H, C,  Ellis whose name is signed to the writing above bearing date on the 10th day of January 1859, has acknowledged the same before me in my City aforesaid, Given under my hand this 13th day of January 1859.
