Assistant Superintendant Freedman's Bureau.

Dear Sir

As my property has not been libelled, and not coming under any of the fourteen exceptions mentioned in the President's proclamation of 29 May 1865, and having complied with all the other requirements of the law, all of which will fully appear by the papers herewith filed   I would most respectfully ask that my property, situated on Dinwiddie street in the city of Portsmouth be restored to me - the said property begins 26 feet North from the intersection of Dinwiddie & Crabb streets, and running West 97 feet, thence North 29 feet, thence East 97 feet thence south 29 feet to the beginning.
