The petition of Catherine C Watts respectfully represents that during her absence from her farm on Back River in Said county, from the latter part of May 1861 - until the 29 May 1865. all of her household & kitchen furniture farming implements, stock &c. which she left on her said farm in charge of her agent on the said place were taken possession of by the Freedmens Bureau and are now in possession of the same. She hereunto files the affidavits of reliable witnesses as to her title to the same and where the property now is and of what it consists as far as she can trace or find out the same - and respectfully asks to be restored to the possession of her said property - She has never given  aid or comfort in any way in the late rebellion, has taken the oath presented by the President of the United States in his proclamation of 29 May 1865
