Your petitioner N.R. Wilkinson would respectfully state: That he together with his brother W.F. Wilkinson are the owners in fee of a farm of about 100 acres known as "Pinners Point" in Norfolk County State of Virginia, and for a more particular description of the same as well as evidence of title thereto your petitioner respectfully refers to the paper hereto annexed marked "A". Your petitioner would further state that his brother W.F. Wilkinson is and has been a resident of, and is & has been for several years last past in business in the City of New York and is a loyal citizen of the United States and does not come within any of the exceptions contained in President Johnsons Amnesty proclamation in any respect - nor does your petitioner come within any of said exceptions - the only capacity in which he ever served the so called Confederate states or any state thereof was that of a private soldier nor has he ever given aid or comfort to the enemies of the United
