The petition of Everett Williamson of the County of Norfolk in the State of Virginia respectfully represents, That he is the owner of a Farm near the old Mill dam, containing 180 acres, and one in Mt. Pleasant, containing 200 acres, both in the said County of Norfolk, the title to which will appear by the certificate of the Clerk of Norfolk County Court herewith filed as a part of this his petition. That These farms have been taken possession by the Govt. as abandoned property, and is now receiving the rents & profits arising from the same. That the said farms were taken possession of in the absence of your petitioner from the County from 1862 to 1865.
Your petitioner prays that the same may be restored to him; and files herewith the oath of Amnesty under the President's proclamation, also the certificate of the Clerk of the District Court of the United States at Norfolk, showing that no steps have been taken to confiscate the same. Your said petitioner having taken the said
