Case of George R. Wilson

The property of Wilson and his two sisters, located in Norfolk Va was taken possession of by the U.S. Gov't, and a Gov't agent has been collecting the rents. The property was left to them by their father who died in 1862. It is worth less than $20,000" - the interest of each will not exceed $5000".

He wishes to recover the rents collected by the U.S. agent, on the ground that the property was not abandoned; but had been in the hands of [[strikethrough]] the [[/strikethrough]] an Agent of the parties sometime before the evacuation of Norfolk by the Confederates and was in his hands at that time also.
