Your Petitioners Julia Winder and Sarah Winder, would respectfully represent that they are the heirs at law of John Winder decd. That said John Winder died in 1864, and never served in the Military or Naval service of the Confederate States. That your petitioners have taken the Amnesty Oath of President Johnson  They would ask the restitution of one horse & two cows, the property of their father, & any other personal estate belonging to him, that the horse & cows they can easily prove and identify - They ask the restitution of this property, that they may be enabled to procure funds sufficient to pay the costs in the United States Court accrued against the land - & they are unable to do it otherwise than by this property
