Capt & Supt Bureau R F & A L Office Supt 1st Dist Norfolk July 31st/66 Respectfully referred to the Asst Com'r for instructions with the information that the premises called the "Fair Grounds" are as far as regards location 321 and buildings. the best adapted to the wants of the Bureau for Hospital purposes of any in the vicinity of the City. The expense of fencing the same by using material now in possession of the Bureau will not (probably) exceed ($200.) Two Hundred dollars. There is no other place procurable. except at the expense of erecting all the .. buildings required. the expense of which would be much more than fencing this land. Sg'd Wm P.
