Supt 362 [[/Left margin]] Bureau R F & A L H'd Qrs Supt 5th Dist Va Fort Monroe Va Aug 22d/66 Respectfully returned to the Asst Com'r. According to the within statement of Lieut Massey Asst Supt the "Whitaker Farm" is said to contain "six hundred and twenty acres of land mostly woodland." The "Whitaker farm" was reported in August 1865 by Capt Flagg in his transfer to Capt Wilder, and regularly, since that time on the returns of Capt Wilder for the months of September, October and November 1865. (Number of acres being omitted). After November 1865 only reports of changes have been forwarded pursuant to orders. By error this farm had been dropped from Lt Massey's papers. Sg'd S.C.
