Sir,
I have the honor to inform you that no provision has been made for the Poor of our County, Black nor White, no Board has assembled and but one of the Overseers of Poor has qualified. This will, I think, be done at our next County Levy and Overseers [[strikethrough]] appointed [[/strikethrough]] will I suppose qualify and a board be formed
The Taxes levied for our County are Two Dollars ($2) per Head, no Tax on Real and Personal Property having been assessed since 1864.
