Sir
In reply to Circular Letter No 12 of March 21st. 1866, I have the honor to state that I have succeeded in getting a meeting of the Board of Overseers of Poor for this County this day, and enclose to you their letter in relation to contents of same letter. I think it covers all points, and also that they are inclined to do all that is necessary in the matter. I would also state that I have already forwarded information in regard to taxes imposed

An early reply is asked for to the enclosed, as they (the Board) make their levy in June

I am Sir very Respectfully
Your Obt Servt
