I have the honor to forward the following report through your office to the Hd. Qrs. Asst. Com'r. in compliance with Circular No. 18. dated Richmond Va. May 8, 1866. 

1st. As yet I cannot learn of any destitute and suffering white citizens in this Sub-Dist. who do not receive aid from the civil authorities.

2nd. There are neither white or colored who require corn and other seed for planting but what have already procured it.

The most of the colored people are working farms on shares the employer furnishing the seed.
