General:
Pursuant to Circular, No. 18, Current Series, Hd. Qrs. Ass't Com'r Bu. R.F. & A.L., State of Va. I have the honor to report as follows:

1st  There are no destitute & suffering white citizens in the County of Chesterfield, not provided for by the Civil Authorities (This statement is based upon information received from the Pres't of the Overseers of the Poor for the County)

2nd  Owing to the far advancement of the Season no seed, as far as I am able to learn, will be needed by white or colored for the raising of this year's Crops.
