I have the honor respectfully to report per Circular No 10 C.S. Hd Qrs Asst Com'r Richmond Va dated March 12th 1866, in reference to Criminal Cases of the Freedmen in this Sub Dist as follows:

| 3 | Thomas Lilly vs. Pleasant Perkins, wife and daughter | May 10th | Stealing | Defendants accused of stealing Keys and bacon. Keys found in their possession. They acknowledge of getting them at Lillys and said Keys fitting the Meat house, though filing one had been done. Some 180 lbs of bacon, taken and the house was entered by Keys.  The Case was postponed on account of evidence not appearing, though every effort was made possible for Defendants by their Counsel Mr Tutwiler. |
