Office of Asst Supt RF & AL King Geo Court-House Va June 30th 1866 Brevet Brig. Genl. O Brown Richmond Va General In obedience to Circular No 10 Pav VI Bureau of Refugees Freedmen & A Sands. Head Quarters Assistant Commissioner State of Virginia dated Richmond Va March 12th 1866 I have the honor to report that there has been no criminal cases in which Freedmen were parties tried by the Civil Courts of this Sub-District during the month of June 1866. One colored man was arrested on the 9th inst and is now confined in jail at this place charged with sheep stealing. he will have a preliminary evaluation before the county court on the first Thursday in July 1866- I am General Very Respectfully Your Most Obedt Servant W.G.
