to sacrifice personal feelings, but when the uniform I wear and the Government I represent is assailed with the scurrilous slander, and vile insults recently offered in the Richmond Press, it appears to me that it is an open demonstration of hostility to the general Govt. and its agents, which should not pass unnoticed.
