I have the honor to report in obedience to Circular No 10. Hd. Qrs Asst Coms. Va. Richmond Va. dated March 12th 1866. That but one of two trials have taken place between the Whites and freedmen, before the civil courts, during the present month. And that they were conducted with fairness and impartiality.
