hog-pen burned, and the hog ran away. It was shown that the pen was burned by Harpers little boy putting ashes in it. They could not find the hog, and the wife went to a fortune teller about it. The fortune teller told her, that, a tall man, with dark hair, and light complexion knew where the hog was. She was telling her husband this when Mr Nunnally rushed into the house, and said, damn you! do you say that I took your hog, and kicked the woman, and her child into the fire. Harper got up and asked Mr Nunnally what he meant? And also took up the poker to defend himself with. Mr. Nunnally then went out, and Harper's wife went away, telling her husband that Mr. N. had gone for his gun, and would return and shoot them. Harper said that he did not believe this, and went stood in the door, retaining the poker in his band.

Soon Mr Nunnally came back drew up his gun, and shot him.
