114 Wise Farm Prm & Drme G. Va December 31 st" 1866 1142 Wise Farm Princess Anne C. Va. December 31st 1866 Capt Wm P Austin Supt R.F and A.L, Sir In compliance with Cir no 10. C.S. I have the honor to report that but four complaints have been made by the colored people during the past, what have been made are as follows. Washington Brown (colored) conplained that he had been violently assaulted by Samuel Gregory (white) and that this was the second offence, the case was referred to one of the Co magistrates, with the advice that in case the magistrate did not take the proper steps to have the matter investigated to report the same, Louisa Wilby complained that one of her children about ten years of age had been forcibly carried away, and that she had hunted about the Co for the child for over a week. I advised her to lay, her case before a magistrate, in the mean time she obtained clue of the child
