as you may deem proper, by making a special report, in each case, which you will find [[affected]], to this report in compliance with Circular No [[33]] Bu. R.F. & A.L. dated Hd Qrs Dept of the Potomac, Richmond, Va, Dec 10th 1866, which I think deserves attention.

These cases were both examined and one of them, Albert Browns, tried, without any knowledge and was reported to me by the council for the defense, after the trial, with a statement [[?]] of the case, as I present in my report of it.
