Detailed Report of the manner in which the order contained in Circular No. 10 Series 1866 Asst. Com'r Off. Va by restoring to the State authorities jurisdiction in criminal cases over colored persons has resulted. 
Reported by Lieut. JB Clinton Asst. Supt. Bu. R.F. & A.L. for the SubDistirct of Amelia of Powhaton Counites Va. for the month ending January 31st 1867.
In this there is nothing to report as there has been no cases during the month for adjudication in colored persons were concerned or their evidence taken, with the exception of the case of Wm. A Godsey selling the property of John Robertson cold of which I made a special on the 16" inst.
At the session of the Court of Amelia County on the 24th inst they ordered Wm. A Godsey summoned to appear at the next term of said Court to show cause why he refused to accept a bond with good and sufficient securities as provided by law.
