could not worship at the same church, nor live in the same town together, and threatened to shoot them if they did not obey his order. Not wishing any further difficulty in the matter, they immediately left, and have not been at the church since. About four or five weeks since (I understand at the instance of Mr Preston) they were indited by the Grand Jury of Montgomery County - and a Bench Warrant issued by Judge Fulton of the Circuit Court, to have them brought before a Magistrate for examination. This warrant was not served until Wednesday the 6th inst, when they were arrested, and brought before Squire Snidow of Christiansburg, when the witnesses in the case not being present, they were at once sent to Jail - although bail was offered for their appearance at any stated time, but was rejected. The case was then postponed until Saturday - and then again to Wednesday - and then again to Saturday, some trivial cause having prevented the examination. On Saturday they were brought before Squire Snidow, and although the evidence on both sides went to prove that the Boy Tom, did not discharge his Revolver.
