I have the honor to report in compliance with circular No 10 Par 6 B.R.F and A.L. dated Richmond Va March 14/67 from Hd Qrs Asst Com'r State of Va.

The result of transferring to civil authorities jurisdiction in criminal cases over colored persons with reference to the interests of the latter.

No cases have been tried in the county court of Culpeper during the month of March /67

One case was tried at the March term Circuit Court Judge Thomas Presiding is Austin Lewis upon the charge of arson - he was found guilty of being accessory to said crime of which - Hoffman white of said county was principal. Each sentenced to imprisonment 6 months in the county jail (the value of the property being less than $100) in addition to the above mentioned punishment the parties were fined $75 each.

In this case the evidence was conclusive and fully sustained the charge - no cases in the county court of said county
