I have the honor to submit the following report in Compliance to Cir No 10 of Hd Qrs Asst Comr State of Va series 1877 for Warren & Page Counties Va.

William Johnson a freedman charged with & tried for grand larceny.  After a hearing before the Judge "Harris" the charge was pursued against him,  the testimony of the freedmen for & against was taken & allowed its full weight in the case
