I found J.T.H. Hall also Lt. And Asst Supt. - This was very clear, too. Again, many times in Freedmen papers as J.T.H. Hall. There were two talking about the endorsement of J.T.H. Hall. Very clearly written.
The Staff list only has him as J H Hall
