Sir:

In compliance with Circular No. 10, Series 1866 I have the honor to report for the month of July, 1867; That there was but one case brought before the courts of my Division in which I deemed it necessary to take any action, and that was a Commonwealth case, versus: Robert Homes (col'd) for shooting and slightly wounding Thomas Patterson. This case I will investigate and render the required report at an early day.
