Gordonsville Va Major I have the honor to report in compliance with Circular No. 10 dated Hd. Qrs. Asst. Comr. State of Va, Richmond Va March 12th, 1866. That Julia A. Johnson (cold.) was tried at the August term of the County Court of Madison Co. Va, for Larceny of wearing apparell It was proven that the articles were found in her possession and she was sentenced to Twenty one days confinement in the County Jail I am very respectfully Your obt. servant Saml W. Carpenter Capt. V.R.C. and A.S.A.C.
