was tried for Larceny - convicted - and sentenced to five years in the Penitentiary. The verdict of the Jury was against the evidence and the Law. In proof of which the Court unanimously granted a new trial. Upon my application to Major Gen'l Schofield this man was discharged from custody and is now at liberty.
