General
In obedience to Circular No 10 series of 1866. Head Quars Asst Commissioner. State of Va Bur R F. & A.L. I have the honor to report that there has been but one criminal case - to my knowledge, in which colored person were parties - tried in the 6th Sub District, during the month of February.

The case was that of a colored man by the name of Johnson. Charged with the robbery of a Watch and Seal lost over two years ago, and as stated by the owner - whose name is Hart and who made the charge - to have been taken from him in the streets of Fredericksburg. He further states that he recovered the watch last Summer. - the Seal he saw upon the person of Johnson.

Johnson proved without doubt that he purchased the Seal in good faith about last Christmas.

The charge was not sustained, the case dismissed
