Respectfully returned to Maj Genl O.O.Howard Commissioner with the report that there is no building in possession of the Government that will accommodate the proposed school.
The society will establish a school at the naval Labratory, but the distance is too great to benefit the class of persons designed to be reached by this school. A suitable building can be leased for eight hundred dollars ($800.) a year.
The society does not ask for the erection of a building.
