Jackson Esther

Va. with report that I have found the within named girl, Esther Jackson. she is with Mr John Kells who lives near "Valley Mills" Va, about seven miles from Staunton Va. From the personal appearance of the child together with information elicited from other parties, I judge she is not well treated and if her father is able to take her it would be well for him to do so. Mrs Kells expressed a willingness to keep her for her board and clothing, the latter article was not over abundant upon the person of the child.
