October 30th, 1866 Respectfully returned to the Asst Com'r Dept of Potomac with the information that the children are married Burrell. Sarah. Robert. John and Rachel aged respectively 15.12.10.8.6.3 & 2. years. Also with the information that this man made application for transportation to this office and was refused on the grounds that he was not dependant on the Gov't for support he having now in deposit in the Freedmens Saving and Trust Company at this place the sum of $695.70) Six hundred and ninety five dollars and seventy cents.
