Court on 

1.) Caroline Young - Charged with larceny of cabbages from Stratten-

Witness-- Maria Jeffries.- saw accused get over & saw her with 2 cabbage stalks in her hand.

Nathan Jeffries - saw accused getting cabbages on saturday last in the day time pulling up cabbages in Wm Strattens garden - there was another person with her which he does not know - he told his mother they were putting up cabbages.

Martha Gardeen witness for accused -- sent the accused into the garden to drive out her chickens. She saw her with 2 cabbage stalks in her hand.

Thos. T. Toller, night watch -- Found the sprouts or cabbage in the pot in Martha Gardeens house --

Sentence -- Five Days imprisonment to be fed on bread & water.

2) Peter Taylor Charged with shooting a gun in the  Corporation on the 14th of this month March 1865. -

Witness for Comm'th-- Jesse W. Carrol. He proves that [[strikethrough]] the accused [[/strikethrough]] this morning about o'clk saw that the accused fire off a gun several times in the city in a grove in the western part of the City. That he went up towards him and ordered him to come to him - He refused to come & turned the muzzle of the gun towards him as if to make resistance. Witness then went & got policeman Robt. H. Hagwood to go with
