5th case 2

Isaac Custis vs Miles Cay

A whole lot of soldiers camped round the house where I was and stove the cart all to pieces. I lived near Newtown at the time. They tore the body all to pieces. They wouldn't let me come to Williamsburg. I loaned one of the wheels to a man, the other remained there and dropped down there. I told him if he saw a cheap pair of wheels to buy them and I would pay for them.

The case here closed.

(The Asst Supt. and Mr Weigel of the board were present)

Decision.

It was decided that Miles Cary should pay Custis eight ($8.00) dollars, within ten days from this decision.
