My name is Lettie Crawley.  Live in James City Co near Browning's mill.  I own a farm in James City Co. near the above mills.  It has been in my possession or that of my husband about thirty (30) years.  My husband bought it of Mr John Jones & Dr Reed.  I have been paying taxes on said property ever since my husbands death, which occurred about twenty two (22) years ago

The Deft. Jackson has been living on my place about a year.  I told him not to go on my place.  Have never asked him any rent for said place.  Have never asked him for any lease rents due me   Have never asked Mrs Jackson for any back rents.  Ques.  Did you ever ask Cary Crawley for
