Mr. Wm. C. Wade recalled. Pltf loaned him a small bay horse to go to Richmond: that he was with Deft when he went to get title to the horse in question Def't. made affidavit that he took up the horse in question, at the White House when the U.S. Forces left.

Mr. A. C. Mason, J.P. Mr Wade and Def't. appeared before him when Deft. swore he picked up the horse in question near [[strikethrough]] at [[/strikethrough]] the White House.

Verdict for Pltf. with $20. payable in sixty days note to be secured.
