Major Christian & Maria Frazier vs. H. M. Sherman } 
Action for wages from Apr. 3./65 to Dec. 25th. 1865.

Christian worked for Def't. without any agreement as to wages. Deft. furnished food, quarters & clothing for Pltf. wife and two small children during the period. It appearing that the wife of plaintiff was very sickly and not able to work more than half the time and that the children were incumbrances the Court decides that Pltf. has been compensated for labor already.

Maria Frazier had four children which were provided for by Deft. Three of them incumbrances, the other aged 16 yrs. was idiotic but helped in the crop. Court allows Pltf $4.50 for services of eldest.
