10 A.M. The Court met pursuant to adjournment. 
Present Capt. J.H. Remington V.R.C. Ass't Sup't. Bureau R.F.& A.L. (The whites and freedmen having failed to elect persons to represent their interests)

Case 1. Charles W. Taylor V's. Wat Ellyson} Action for recovery of debt for board, twenty two dollars ($22.00) claimed as due.

It appears that the Defendant with others cultivated a piece of land for the Plaintiff on shares, in the Spring and Summer of 1865. 
- That before the crop was secured the Defendant was taken sick and remained in the hands of the Plaintiff until March 1866 being four (4) months beyond the time (Viz: until the crop was secured) which the Plaintiff was bound by the agreement to support the Defendant,  - that the Defendant received his share of the crop and agreed to pay, by manual labor, for the surplus time, but had become
