It appearing that Pltf. agreed to work for Def't. for food, clothing, quarters & fuel for herself and five small children and that Def't has so furnished her except part of the clothing, the Court orders him to pay Pltf. ten pounds of cotton, being the balance due

Jesse Morris Mary Ann Richardson Sally Ann Ellis vs. Miles C. Tunstalls} Action for wages from April 3d to Dec. 15th/65.
It appearing that Jesse was a factory hand, that he was unable to work most of the time from August on account of "Ague", and that he was comparatively worthless to Deft; also that Def't. provided for, and took care of him in sickness, the Court orders Deft to pay him four bushels of corn
