Sallie Howard (now held for larceny) testified that about three weeks since she, (Wit.) opened the trunk of Plntff. and feloniously took there from a number of gold and silver peices, value not Known, that she, (wit.) gave said peices to Dfdt who had for some time previous been urging her (Wit.) to secure said coin and give it to her Dfdt. Promising to pay her (Wit.) on receipt of her (Dfdts) husband's bounty. Does not know what Dfdt did with the money.
Wm Banks, husband of Dfdt, testified that Dfdt gave him ten dollars in silver, about three weeks since. just previous to his marriage with Dfdt. Does not know where she got the money - did not ask her.
