Mary Wormley states that Jones hired her boy to work with him oystering at fifty cents per day, and that there is a balance of three dollars remaining unpaid which amount he refuses to pay.

Gillam Jones states that he hired the boy as stated and paid him up. but afterwards they went in copartnership and made ten dollars and after paying the hire of boat. there was three dollars coming to the boy which he is willing to pay.

The Court gave Judgement in favour of plaintiff for three dollars and allowed defendant fifteen days to pay the same.

Griffin Becket vs Daniel Stanley (cold)
Charge     Debt

Griffin Becket (cold) states I took a horse belonging to defendant to my house to doctor and attend for the glanders  I fed and attended him four weeks, and returned his horse in good working order, he promised to pay me three dollars for my trouble.

Edwards Dawson (white) being duly sworn states, after Becket delivered back the horse to Stanley they came to me to make out a bill in Beckets favour for three dollars, which bill Stanley signed.

Daniel Stanley states that Becket promised to cure the horse and he is not entirely well. The court decided that Stanley pay Becket three dollars in fifteen days.
