Cruelty to Child.

Mr. Cline acting for Plntff, testified that the Df'dt, who is father of Henry Riddick, has been in the habit of beating the said Henry with the greatest Cruelty; beating him in the most brutal manner; hanging him by the thumbs, and bucking and gagging him, without just cause or provocation.
