Louis Hall (white) being duly sworn states I sold the boat in question to Geo W Hogg it is the same boat I sold him.

G.W. Ferry (white) being duly sworn states Henry came over to our side of the river during the year [[1864?]] and stole some things from one of our boats; the Sunday following we went after him, and could not find him but found his boat and took it away with us. it has changed hands several times since, but the boat now in question is the same boat that we took from him.

Robert Henry being duly sworn states I bough the boat from Mr Wilbern in Gloucester. he built it and I was the second man that ever owned her. I paid twenty three 75/100 dollars for her. I can bring any number of witnesses to prove that the boat is mine, but they are all so busy with their crops that they could not come here today.

The Court unanimously decided that the boat is the lawful property of Robt. Henry.
